While none of my recipes for deviled eggs include vinegar i doubt that the amount of vinegar in your recipe is a lot and assume it is contributing a bit of tartness. As its name implies apple cider vinegar is made from apples. There s no need to over complicate them with any extras. Just be sure to shake it before you use it.
A common ingredient found in most kitchens white vinegar is a handy replacement for apple cider vinegar. I don t think vinegar is a must or even the standard ingredient to make deviled eggs but the sour flavor is needed or otherwise it won t taste like deviled eggs.
