Why Do Old Tattoos Raise Up And Itch

There are a number of reasons a new or old tattoo can itch.
So i was wondering why sometimes my wrist tattoos will randomly become itchy and raise up. If you gain or lose a drastic amount of weight your tattoo could change in appearance as your skin changes. Anything that consistently alters the position of your skin can do this. While scabbing is the most common cause behind tattoo itching yet there are other factors as well that can cause your tattoo to itch.
Why is my tattoo raised. Infections allergic reactions and preexisting skin conditions are just a few possible itch triggers. This means that certain actions can alter the brightness or clarity of your tattoo or raise it. It goes away eventually and doesn t remain raised.
New tattoos are especially prone to damage and infection so extreme care must be taken so you don t mess up the ink or the. For some reason when i get in the shower and water touch it it itch extremely bad. I ve been told my tattoo is extremely dry when i never had problems with my skin being dry.
