Why does my xbox 360 slim keep turning off by itself.
Just turns rights off. Why does my xbox 360 turn off by itself no red rings and it only turns off when i start playing a game. I watch my movie turn it off go to bed. For more information about ventilation see the more information section.
The timing varies but generally within a few minutes of starting the console it shuts itself off. Sometimes it makes this beep noise but doesn t turn on when i play a game it makes those noises it turns off the color to the power brick is green what can be the problem. No it doesnt freeze. As for the shutting off it almost always happens within the first few minutes of starting up the console.
Happens every time i turn it on from then on. The most it has done it is 15 or 20 times before i could actually play my game or watch a movie. My xbox 360 slim like to turn off within one to two minutes of being on and it dose it constantly. I can leave it on just fine but when i start playing it unexpectedly quits.

I ll turn on my 360 it will boot up to the dashboard but then within minutes it will play the noise as if someone pressed the sensor that turns it on and off. Best bet would be to get an official xbox power brick try it out and if it doesn t fix the problem then return it to the store and troubleshoot from there. Occasionally my xbox 360 will shut off while i m playing or turn itself on without being touched. Today i turn it back on and within a minute it shuts off.
