So i thought i d take the time to sit down and explain just why it s so hard for men to say i love you.
There s really a chance that your guy isn t at the stage yet where he feels that he really does love you. Saying i love you is no small deal and i wouldn t put it past anybody to be at least a little prudent when it comes to dropping the big l bomb. Words usually mean a hell of a lot less than actions. We aren t feeling it.
To me it has always been a matter of awkwardness. So it felt awkward to even think about saying it. Once you say it once you re expected to keep saying it. You usually don t break up with someone you just started to love.
There s something about saying those three little words that marks a transition in your relationship. I learned that the hard way. Hearing your partner say i love you is regarded as one of the highlights of a romantic relationship. You can t back away from that word.

Sometimes it s incredibly hard to tell when to say i love you to your partner. Sometimes the most obvious answer is the right one. The right time is definitely not on the first date. With so much conflicting advice it can be hard to trust your feelings.
