Why Is There An Exclamation Point On My Photos

If you noticed an exclamation point on your iphone photos it means that you faced some problems.
This could be due to lack of a network connection or it could be file corruption on icloud s end. The iphone photos with exclamation marks are the optimized photos that replaced the original ones. Only recent ones on my internal storage show up like this. Some of my photos have an exclamation when i click on the photo to view and it won.
There are blurry photos on your phone. Also all my photos that i moved to my sd card are greyed out with exclamation mark. Instead of showing a large version of the photo a big exclamation point comes on the screen and i can t view or do anything with the photo. Photos do not download from icloud.
I can see the older ones fine. The last 2 days images i captured using my s9 came up in grey boxes and an exclamation mark icon in the middle with no other option than deleting them. If iphoto was originally able to create the thumbnails then the photos were there at some point. How can i fix this please.
