Waffle crisp has already been difficult for many to find in the last few years but with the cereal s literally rich eggo topping 20 year history it would be especially sad if the success of oreo o s and its ilk was what pushed waffle boy off shelves.
Getting the waffle iron nice and hot means the batter will crisp up as soon as it hits the surface. You need some of it to make sure your waffles are tender but too much and that extra moisture will quickly soften the waffle s outer crust. It nearly brings me to tears that it is so hard to find not to mention the product locator on the kraft website doesn t show cereal anymore. The reason i knock off a star is because the cereal is so hard.
