I ve heard online that you can only get skin poisoning if you digest the ink and to get skin cancer you have to get sunburnt alot or something but so many people are saying i can get these things if i draw on my self so i m confused s are these people correct or not informed.
However according to the manufacturer various sharpies contain. For the most part it s the solvents in the ink of a sharpie pen that present a health concern more than the pigments so once you ve drawn on yourself and the ink has dried there is not a lot more risk from the product. Also don t post if you don t have any. I used to write all over myself too with sharpies and gel pens.
So i draw on my left hand everyday usually covers the whole hand with sharpie. As with swallowing ink you are not going to get ink poisoning from writing or drawing on your body. N propanol n butanol diacetone alcohol and cresol. But if you have ever consumed ink by gnawing on your pen for instance and getting the ink into your body you do not need to be scared.
For many people ink poisoning could only possibly occur when a person swallows the ink in a pen. I m white and it shocks me with out any sharpie. I think its just the heat it produces when flashing almost like a quick pulse you wouldn t even notice only you have the thing pressed directly to your skin. The likelihood of getting poisoned by tattoo ink has more to do.

Other than that you are. The worst that can happen is you drying your skin trying to get the marks off. It appears reactions to the pigments are uncommon.
