The constitution will never be dead. It s very much alive in that it will always be relevant no matter what the cultural or political climate may be. It is because it is adaptable that amendments could be ratified or added to it. The flaw in its inception would be its original intent excluded so many people.
The constitution must be a living document if it is to represent those living today. The concept that the constitution is a living documents was created by democrats as a means to bypass the amendments process and strip you of your rights while growing the powers of government to rule over you.
