If i like you and want to be liked by you that does not automatically mean i m phantasizing a future with you.
It s old news that we want what we can t have. You do like them but it s because you are scared of commitment deep down maybe due to past experience that s why you feel like backing off. It s not something that we need to beat ourselves up about. It is because you hate yourself.
So if you feel like there s a pattern of people you re dating losing interest maybe it s time to look inward but remember that there are so many reasons things can happen. What i do not consider normal is my showing that i like him making him lose his interest for me. But as soon as he likes me back he suddenly becomes very clingy and wants to talk to me all the time. Often when we lose interest in someone who likes us back it is because deep within us is a doubt about our worthiness a lack of acceptance or a feeling of non approval or even shame about who we are.
It s nice to be able to have chats with him about school once in a while. Such is why we often think it s worth. I suddenly lose all my interest and i want to back off. We may see this as shyness or discontent with life.

Now let me be clear. I put so much energy into the guy i m crushing over in an attempt to get his attention and make him want me. It s ok if you don t like me back. Why we lose interest in people interested in us.
And of course people seem so much more attractive when we think they don t want us. If we really like somebody then of course we are going to get nervous when around them because getting rejected by them is going to hurt us so much more than if we get rejected by someone we don t like. Also it could be because he or she is moving onto you. I like a guy when he s polite and nice to me and when he keeps a distance from me.
I lose interest in guys i like once they re interested in me i don t know why. It was lust not.
